.

It's a fantastic achievement! And as Bill points out too, it's down to the crafting of the book. I can only imagine the keen editorship invested in the book by both Roberta and Snapshot Press. I know John would have treated Roberta's book as a labour of love on a professional level, not just a personal one.

It's paid off, and it's being respected as a well-crafted book first, and then as a well-crafted book of poetry, akin to a novel as well.

It's also a fantastic nod to the integrity and consistency of Roberta, and of Snapshot Press.

Well done Roberta, and may it go into many reprints for pure pleasurable reading, and a guide to what a well-edited book can achieve. Many many humble bows to you.

This is a good place to share the blurb I wrote for The Unworn Necklace:

Moving full circle from the opening to closing poems, this substantial collection of Roberta Beary's haiku offers a feast for the inner eye and heart. Beary's haiku record life passages---love and loss, anger and forgiveness, family and solitude---linking human nature and the natural world with exquisite sensitivity and striking clarity. A stunning collection!

Congratulations Roberta!
